It would be great if the Autonumbering Wizard would support the discnumber. It already supports several directories with the "Reset counter ..." option.
So, two extra options would be great:
[ ] Set Discnumber tag (each directory contains one disc)
[ ] Save total number of discs in tag (total: 2) (or whatever)
or something along those lines. 
If someone has a script for this, that would be great, too.
(I always number tracks and then discs, even if it is only one disc).

I use a FormatValue action for DISCNUMBER: '$mid(%_directory%,3,2)'
and store multi-disk album tracks in subdirectories named CD01, CD02, etc
Yeah, I have several actions for it now, that extract it from the file name or the directory name, but one last problem remains: How many disks are there in total? I cannot see how to kill that one with an action.
BTW, I can only praise and praise the other posters over and over, your answers to other questions gave me many many clues on issues I had.
