# 2.35k - Shift+Del

In this new version the handling of this hotkey behaves very strange. Selecting some text (only a part of it) in a field and using this combo deletes the whole field, but it shouldn't. If the field was modified before using the combo it works well it doesn't delete the whole text.

I really hope that this is not a new feature because it is very annoying. 🙂

SHIFT+DEL will remove the selected entry from the combo-box. This is a feature.

Is it possible to introduce a new option to allow the user to disable this NEW function and let MP3TAG to work like it worked before?

I don't see why this would deserve an extra option? Are there any other uses for the [Shift+Del] keyboard shortcut?
