Mp3Tag Crashes on Mac when importing tags from text file

I have Mp3Tag Trial Version (3 days left) installed on iMac and am unable to fully evaluate.

When attempting to "import tags from text file" Mp3Tag locks down and I have to force quit. Attached is text file sent to Apple with report "You quite Mp3tag because of a problem."

Apple Support has suggested I reinstall Mp3Tag. Is this possible with Trial version?

Again, as I have only 3 days left of trial I would greatly appreciate your assistance to address this problem

Can you also send the text file you‘re importing from with the format string you’re using? You can also send this via email if you prefer.

Also, how many files do you have selected when the hang occurs?

We've worked together via email to identify and address this issue and it's now fixed with Mp3tag for Mac v1.8.24.

From the release notes:

Added a workaround for possible hangs caused by infinite backtracking of the regex engine when importing a large number of tags from text files and the format didn't match the input.
