Dragging and dropping folder from windows explorer address bar into mp3tag causes deletion of it (Win 11).
Same option worked well when I used win 10.
Any tips?
In Windows 10 you can drag the small yellow icon in front of the content in the Windows Explorer address bar and then "copy" (drop) it to Mp3tag.
How do you do that in Windows 11 exactly?
Update:
I think I know what you mean. You need to press the CTRL key before you start dragging the content in the Windows 11 Explorer Addressbar and switch the drag & drop mode from "MOVE" to "COPY":

It seems that it is not possible in Windows 11 to change the mode during drag&drop as it was in Windows 10.
After start dragging, pressing the CTRL key does not seem to change the mode anymore in Windows 11.
@LyricsLover Thanks a lot! Exactly, it's the operation from your update. Yes, win explorer address bar is in the focus.
However, if I drag & drop from explorer address bar to software like mixmeister or any audio converter, it works without problems (without pressing ctrl). In that case no need to switch "move" to "copy".
Seems I have to use drag & drop + ctrl only for Mp3Tag.
How to explain that?
This is a question that the developer @Florian may be able to explain better.
It's simply Mp3tag's way of differentiating between replacing the contents of Mp3tag's File List with the dropped files (without Ctrl) and adding the dropped files to the existing list of files (with Ctrl).
Other programs probably don't have these two modes for drag and drop and, thus, behave differently.
Edit:
It seems that it's behaving differently when dragging from the address bar. I'll look into it and will keep you posted.
I've now made some changes, to report a drag and drop operation as a link instead of a move to the source application. Please try with Mp3tag v3.28a.
