Maybe a setup builder or installer application can help ...
... like ... "Inno Setup"

... or ... with much less effort ...

1. Execute the Mp3tag menu item "File/Save Configuration" and create the zip package.
2. Open the just created "Mp3tagSettings.zip" using the packer tool "WinRAR".
3. In WinRAR press [Alt+X] and apply the conversion from zip package into a "WinRAR SFX" self extracting exe file.
4. In the SFX dialog tab "Extended SFX options" set the target folder for the extraction to ...
_%APPDATA%\Mp3tag_
... choose as 'absolute pathname'

> (... for the first attempts you may work with a well known test output folder, ...
> if that works, then apply the variable folder _%APPDATA%\Mp3tag_)
> Info: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...-appdata-folder](http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/what-appdata-folder)

5. Press [OK].
5. Now the file "Mp3tagSettings.exe" should exist beside the file "Mp3tagSettings.zip".
6. Execute "Mp3tagSettings.exe" and check the result

The dialog "Extended SFX options" offers some more interesting options.
