# AAC file album name problem

If I put two AAC files in a folder and open that folder in Mp3tag, then type the Album name for only one of the two, then click the Save icon, in current version of Win 11 Media Player, the AAC file with the Album name changed in Mp3tag will not play and gives the error that the file type is unsupported, incorrect or corrupted. The AAC file, with no changes, is also saved at the same time and plays perfectly in Media Player. Is this as designed?

That depends on whether the file is an aac file or not and whether the file was taggable in the first place - or whatever could have been the matter with the file.
