# Accessing freedb error

Hello,

new here, go easy. Installed 2.44, deactivated both firewall on the router and windows firewall.

I have set:  
[freedb.freedb.org](http://freedb.freedb.org) /~cddb/cddb.cgi 80  
Timeout: 20

Tried [de.freedb.org](http://de.freedb.org) and [us.freedb.org](http://us.freedb.org). Says connec to...... and after couple of sec, I see:  
"The server failed to return a valid query response code"

What am I doing wrong???
