# Action For Year Field

Hiya All

Sometimes my 'YEAR' field displays it as eg 12/03/2021, is there a way please via an action to have it just as the year 2021 or whatever the year may be

You could try an action of the type "Replace with regular expression" for YEAR  
Search string: `\d\d/\d\d/(\d\d\d\d)`  
(or shorter: `\d*/(\d*?)`  
Replace string: $1

Yu can take the converter Tag-\>Tag:

Field YEAR  
Format String: $right(%year%,4)

or an equivalent action of the type Format Value with the same parameters.
