# action to add tag and cover art to files

Maybe I dont understand how mp3tag works, tried with few different actions -\> no luck.
Files are in format artist\year - album\tracknr - title.mp3
tried with %artist%\%year% -%album%\%track% - %title% and second option in action to add folder.jpg to albumart...
ofcourse i could do it with add file to tag and after that add albumart. only problem is that there are about 450 gigs of music and it takes ages to go through them twice..

Create an Action group with the two actions:
**Action 1** : Guess values
**Source format** : %\_parent\_directory%\%\_directory%\%\_filename%
**Guessing pattern** : %artist%\%year% - %album%\%track% - %title%
**Action 2** : Import cover from file
**Format string for image filename** : %\_folderpath%folder.jpg
[x] Delete existing cover art _(as you wish)_
