# Add 'File Type' Column For Sorting

Can anyone recommend how I can create a column for the file type of each file so that I can sort by mp3, wav, m4a, etc? I'd greatly appreciate any advice.

You can add a column with data from %\_codec% or from %\_extention% or other that may be of interest.
