I have 6 albums, they have different amount of MP3 files.

I load all these albums into Mp3Tag
If I select all files

And I use **Format Value:**

```
TOTALTRACKS
to
%_total_files%
```

It would set total tracks to songs of all 6 albums

So I can't use this method [/t/12205/1](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/12205/1)
Because it only works with selected files.

There has to be a way to do this automatically without selecting albums one by one and applying these tags.

Maybe using Guess Values and using values **%track%** and **%\_directory%** (for differentiating between folders)

May I use request a new varible **%\_total\_files\_directory%**

...

Yes, but the answer is the track numbering wizard and no action.
You can't reset a counter in actions.
