# Adding lyrics manually

I want to add/modify the lyrics of MP3 files manually. Can you tell me how to do that in MP3Tag please?

I think I found the answer myself! I had to choose the file, press ALT+T and then add/change the UNSYNCLYRICS field.

Or you go to File \> Options \> Tag Panel  
There you can add the field UNSYNCEDLYRICS and you see it in the tag panel afterwards

Do not forget to add a string that is separted by two vertical bars || from the lyrics. Only this will enable you to see the lyrics:  
e.g.  
eng||All my loving ....

for lyrics in English

Some in the forum have experienced that adding any string, even xxx will enable the players to display th lyrics. Without the prefix and the || it is pointless.
