I'm gradually getting to grips with how mp3tag works.

Can mp3tag add multiple instances of the same tag in a FLAC file?

For example:

GENRE=JAZZ
GENRE=LATIN

or

ARTIST=Dizzy Gillespie
ARTIST=Sonny Rollins
ARTIST=Sonny Stitt

As described in:

[http://www.xiph.org/vorbis/doc/v-comment.html](http://www.xiph.org/vorbis/doc/v-comment.html)
[http://reactor-core.org/ogg-tagging.html](http://reactor-core.org/ogg-tagging.html)

The "Tags..." function appeared to work but it only saved one instance.

Yes it can and it should also work in the "Tags..." dialog. How exactly did you try it?

In the left tag panel it works by entering i.e. Dizzy Gillespie\\Sonny Rollins and saving the tags (two backslashes as seperator).

Cool!

I tried adding another artist using metaflac and then editting with mp3tag. Didn't know about the double slash trick.

Thanks!
