I have installed mp3tag on Mac and I have managed to get REPLAYGAIN\_TRACK\_GAIN and REPLAYGAIN\_TRACK\_PEAK to appear as tag columns. However, I am also trying to add REPLAYGAIN\_ALBUM\_GAIN and REPLAYGAIN\_ALBUM\_PEAK as tag columns. This hasn't been successful for me.

When I go to the menu Settings \>\> File List ... and when I try to add %replaygain\_album\_gain% or %replaygain\_album\_peak% to that section, it does not display any album gain values for the tracks that I imported. I checked the sames files in Musicbrainz Picard and the values show up there. Am I adding album gain and album peak tags incorrectly?

I also need help to add Replaygain Track Gain and Replaygain Album Gain to the tag panel on the left so that I can batch remove the gain values for files I import.

Hello and welcome!

Do you see the values via the extended tags window at ⌘T?

It may be easier to create an action to remove fields that you do not want:

> [@Quick Actions and Action Groups](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/quick-actions-and-action-groups/51882#remove-fields-11):
>
> Mp3tag for Mac provides a variety of Actions, which can be used on filenames and tags. The actions can be applied individually via Actions → Quick Actions ⌥⌘ 6 or be grouped into named and reusable Action Groups via Actions → Actions ⌘ 6. Action Groups serve as repeatable workflows in Mp3tag for Mac. When using Quick Actions you can select one of the different available action types from the list. This action will be applied to the selected files and the changes are saved immediately. Tip 1…

or the action with a list of fields to keep

Yes, this was the solution. I didn't realise that files needed to contain this info for it to be possible to use extended tags. Thanks for the help.
