hi. let's say I have a file named 311 - various - 01 - hollaalaa.mp3
I have my tags always as follows:

artist = artist
album = album
title = album - number - title

so if my existing ID3v2 tag of the title would be hollaalaa, is it possible to keep the existing tag and add album - number - in front of it? _by the way, I am talking about complete dirs..._

if so... how? 🙂

[How do I append the string " xyz" to the content of a tag-field?](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/967/1)

Simply use a formatstring like **%album% - %track% - %title%** for the **TITLE** field.

Best regards,
