# Album art saving to wrong folder

Version 322a does not save album art to the current folder but rather to the last folder opened. Reverted to version 322 which works fine.

I have just checked the Options Ctrl-O \> the setting "Directory for album covers"? I have set `%_folderpath%` and MP3tag V3.22a writes to the last used folder.  
I checked what %\_folderpath% returns in Convert\>Tag-Tag - and that produces the folder of the current file.

So I think I can confirm your observation.

Thank you for reporting the issue. I've restructured some parts of the code while attempting to fix [this issue](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/mp3tag-shortens-cover-file-names-in-some-cases/62096), which introduced this issue.

I've now reverted the code to where it was with v3.22 and released Mp3tag v3.22b including the fix.
