# Album Name (with year and without year)

Hi,

I have aprrox 5000 songs of my collection. Some album name are with year in bracket at last (for example "Wolves (2017)") and some are without year (for example "Wolves"). Wolves is album name.

Can someone please please advise me hoe to remove "space (after album), bracket and year".

It will save my lot of time and energy and help is appreciated.

You can use an action of the type "Guess value"  
Source: %album%  
String: %album% (%year%)  
(if you want to write the information into the field year)  
or  
You can use an action of the type "Guess value"  
Source: %album%  
String: %album% (%dummy%)  
This deletes any string in parenthesis.
