# Are batch actions possible ?

I'm new to Mp3Tag; I read the help, searched the forum, but couldn't find a solution to my problem.
I have a lot of files (podcasts) whose Title tag is not useful (just a number...) but which use the Comment tag to store the useful info (subject, date, etc).
I would like to be able at least to copy the whole Comment tag information to the Name tag, automatically for all the files in the same directory (doing it manually for a few hundred files isn't an option).
Ideally, it would help if I could define various parts of the Comment tag to be copied to various tags (Name, year, track...) but even moving the Comment tag to the Name tag would help tremendously.
Is this possible using Mp3Tag ?

Select all the files and apply your desired action:

Use action type **Format value** to copy stuff from one tag to another.

Also possible. For a simple structure "Guess Values" might work. If it is more complicated to separate the different information parts regular expressions can help.
