# Auto tag to original release

Question from a total noob with Mp3tag.

I'm in the process of tagging my collection of CDs, the problem is I have a bunch of them that are compilation or best of CDs.

Is there an option or a script that would allow me to automatically tag to the original release year/album of the song versus the year/album it actually came from?
