This has been asked in various forms but I couldn't find any solution specific to this. I just want to tag all of my files by using the same entry in both the Artist and Album Artists fields by using the Filename - Tag tool. I can do one or the other, but I want to do both at the same time. All of my files are Artist - Title.mp3 ---

Wouldn't then a subsequent application of Convert functions be the safer way? First you import the data with Convert\>Filename-Tag and Format string: %artist% - %title% and then copy the contents of ARTIST into ALBUMARTIST with Convert\>Tag-Tag for ALBUMARTIST Format string: %artist% Doing it with actions could be done with an action of the type "Guess value" with Source: %\_filename% Target: %artist% - %title% and then a second action in that group but this time of the type "Format value" for ALBUMARTIST Format string: %artist% ---
