# Autonumbering Via Actions

HI

I want to autonumber some tracks via the actions dialog.

I want to renumber with the tracks to have leading zeros , and to reset the counter for each directory.

I know i can do this from the wizard in the toolbar , but am trying to construct an action to do it.

Can someone help with the formula? I know it must involve %\_counter% , but am unable to refine it personally.

Grateful for any assistance.

You can do it for one folder only because it is not possible to reset the counter when you use actions.

Do you know then what the code would be to autonumber with leading zeros?

$num(%\_counter%,2)  
or  
$num(%\_counter%,2)/$num(%\_total\_files%,2)
