# Bad info recovering from Discogs

Hiya!
When collecting info from discogs I get this:
Discogs release is this one:
[https://www.discogs.com/es/release/2985373-Various-Moulin-Rouge-Music-From-Baz-Luhrmanns-Film](https://www.discogs.com/es/release/2985373-Various-Moulin-Rouge-Music-From-Baz-Luhrmanns-Film)
But, as you can see, artist field is not right, according to Discogs webpage data. Don't know why this happens, but it might have something to do with track #10, being a medley, so there are many lines of info for the same track. Can't explain it further than that, I'm sorry, but I think you guys get the point.

There are two ways to solve this (until someone will fix the Discogs script to support the "subtracks"):
a) You fix the data at the source (Discogs in this case)
or
b) You select the tracks 11 to 16 on the right side of the result window and move them down (pressing the "Bajar"-Button) until they align with the tracks 11 to 16 on the left side

This would be effective as-is if the disc was ripped with the index as separate tracks. Not too many rippers support this, I know EAC does.

@LyricsLover Hi again! I know the second option that you mention as a solution, that is what I usually do but this time I noticed that the actual info (text) is not properly recovered from Discogs:
The "artist" column should be like this:
But it recovers something different, as you can see in the screenshot I took from Mp3tag. I hope I clarified this now. I'm sorry for the confussion.

This fix seems to work only for albums with various artists. Requesting discogs for info about Emerson, Lake & Palmers album Tarkus delivers the following result:
The artist comlumn get messed up. I'm using mp3tag v3.25e and I don't know if this behaviour was different bevor that version.

Yes, it works now for albums with only one track with subtracks. Albums with two or more tracks with subtracks, e.g Atom Heart Mother from Pink Floyd [https://www.discogs.com/de/release/3415716-Pink-Floyd-Atom-Heart-Mother](https://www.discogs.com/de/release/3415716-Pink-Floyd-Atom-Heart-Mother) still need a further small fix (unset the variable with ` set "TEMP_IndexArtist"` before the first use).
