# Batchconvert FLAC files with replaygain tags to mp3... is replaygain dsp needed again??

Hi,

I am about to batch convert my flac files to mp3. The flac files already have replaygain tags. For the batch convert do I need to reapply the replaygain dsp when converting to mp3 or are the flac replaygain tags carried across correctly to the converted mp3's automatically?

ooops.. I am still half asleep. I posted this one on the wrong forum. Still, you guys may know the answer. I am using dbpoweramp. I will repost there.

Mp3tag doesn't do the conversion, so that would depend on what software you use.
