# Blanking out comments does not seem to work

Okay I have searched the forums for about an hour and with glazed eyes I submit the question what am I doing wrong or not doing?
Seems I am unable to use MP3Tag for removal of comments in the files.
1 - Select all files
2 - Change comment field to
3 - Select appropriate tag source
4 - Convert
5 - Select all files
6 - Convert to Tag - File name
What I am seeing is in both actions the comment changes from to the comment in the file. I may not be using the most efficient steps to fix all the jumbled file names in my music collection so that may be a part of my problem. I have tried changing the order I do things in and have not found something that works.
Any suggestions?

1 - Select all files
2 - Change comment field to
3 - Press Ctrl + S (Save tag)
