Bug: rating wmp corrupted upon MP3>WMA tag copy

1 On an MP3 track showing %rating wmp% = 25, Copy
2 On a WMA track, Paste

Expected: WMA has %rating wmp% = 25
Observed: WMA has %rating wmp% = 2.

24 and 26 work fine.

Likewise attempting to enter 25 gives 2.

Looks like Mp3tag is doing some undocumented scale transform and messing up big time.

EDIT: The value written into the file is correct.

EDIT: For the record, here's X to Y for all X being the value written in Mp3tag and Y being the actual value of the WMA property (WM/SharedUserRating):

0 to none
1 to 1
2 to 25
3 to 50
4 to 75
5 to 99
6 to 6
7 to 7
8 to 8
9 to 9
10 to 10
11 to 11
12 to 12
13 to 13
14-255 to 14-255

Maybe your observation is related to this thread and you will add your voice to those of us who want the popularimeter tag reinstated.

Thanks, but I can't see how.

That won't solve this problem. For one thing %popularimeter% didn't work on .WMA.
