# Can I invoke Auto Numbering Wizard from 'Actions' ?

I got most of the stuff I do regularly in a nice Actions list that I use with just two clicks... except the Auto Numbering... for which I still need to remember and click on AutoNum wizard.... is there any way to nvoke Auto Numbering Wizard from 'Actions' ?

It's possible but only for one album/directory because there's no way to reset the counter
This pads the tracknumbers always with two digits ##/##
_Action type:_ **Format value**
_Field:_ **TRACK**
_Format string:_ **$num(%\_counter%,2)/$num(%\_total\_files%,2)**
This pads depending on the total amount of files i.e. 1/8 or 01/15 or 089/112
_Action type:_ **Format value**
_Field:_ **TRACK**
_Forma tstring:_ **$num(%\_counter%,$len(%\_total\_files%))/$num(%\_total\_files%,$len(%\_total\_files%))**

Thanks, I will give it a shot. Actuallly I like to keep tracks as single digit for 1-9 and then it takes it's own course... should I just replace 2 with 1 in the first one ?
(I don have a real need to keep the counter reset by folder though ☹ )
