# Can you make an action to ADD A TAG?

Hi,

I'm usually a Mac user by I'm working on a PC because Mp3tag is the only app I've found that lets me add a tag to my MP3 files. I need to add the tag COMMENT ITUNNORM to many of my files so that iVolume, an app that equalizes playback volume between all tracks, will work.

Using Mp3tag I am able to add this tag and some dummy content and make iVolume analyze the track. Yay!

But, I am wondering if there is a way to automate this process using the actions, or some other way. I have several hundred tracks that need to have this tag added.

Is there a way to write a general expression that would perhaps search and replace one tag and contents with a different tag and contents? I don't really understand writing general expressions, or how to create a custom action to add a tag, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

_Name of action group:_ **Add dummy ITUNNORM**

_Action type:_ **Format value**  
_Field:_ **COMMENT ITUNNORM**  
_Formatstring:_ **00000000 00000000 00000000 0000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 0000000 00000000**
