# Cannot Remove Extra Characters in INVOLVEDPEOPLE

Hi
First: I am using MP3Tag 2.95
I wish to use INVOLVEDPEOPLE as an Arranger field. I enter the name of the arranger as:
_**Mauro Giuliani (1781-1829)**_
After I save the Tag (INVOLVEDPEOPLE) my 'Arranger' filed is now: _**Mauro Giuliani (1781-1829) :;**_
No matter what I have tried the **:;** is always at the end of the field. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug? Is there any other field I can use?

`INVOLVEDPEOPLE` is a special kind of field in ID3v2 which has a special formatting:
**Syntax:** Role1:Person1;Role2:Person2; ...
**Example:** Arranger:Mauro Giuliani (1781-1829);

Thanks Florian. I did not think of looking at the mapping.
_As a change:_ Is it possible to remove trailing characters, i.e. semi-colon, when the INVOLVEDPEOPLE tag is saved? I had to do that on a [VB.NET](http://VB.NET) application as the person using the program complained.

They are not written to the tag itself. `:` and `;` are solely used to denote roles and names.
Internally it's stored as null-separated multi-string list where every odd field is a role and every even is a name or a comma delimited list of names.
