# Can't get various artist working on ipod?

Greetings,

I've tried multiple things but none seem to work. I have some albums with various artists, and I apply a "Various Artist" tag to album artist and when I sync each artist is listed rather than "various". I also tried adding a column "COMPILATIONS" and setting the values to 1 but that didn't work either.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Not sure which album artist TAG applies to iTunes as I'm on my phone atm but:

Try both the %album artist% and %albumartist% field and see what works. Notice the whitespace character in the first example.

Always put COMPILATION (You have said COMPILATIONS, Please check this also) to the value 1.
