Capital After a number

I'm useless with regex, I've tried to learn but I am still struggling.

I need a regular expression which capitalise a character after a number e.g. 1e becomes 1E.

Thanks in advance.

My condolences.
You do not need a regular expression, but You may use one of the normal string functions.
Try it out ...

$caps('a b c 1e f0g','1234567890') ... or ... $regexp('a b c 1e f0g','(\d)(\D)','$1\u$2') ==> "A b c 1E f0G"

Thanks, where do I create the string function? use the format value, apologies for the n00b questions.
