How do you create a column for the iTunes Category column? I have some songs with text in that field, and no matter how much I try I can't remove it. Or find it in MP3Tag. If you open such a song (with iTunes "Category") in Mp3tag and then press ALT+T, what do you see? ---

I did not see anything. That data that you then do not see in the tags is probably stored in iTunes' own database and not in the tags. If this is so, then MP3tag cannot do a lot about it. ---

Hello, if you put data in the PODCASTCATEGORY in mp3tag, you can read it in Itunes in the category field. you can only read it in itunes and sellect this field in smart playlists ggrrttzzz Guru ---

2 years later? 😉 As @ohrenkino [already wrote](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/category-column-field-how-to-add-change/42477/4), there is a high chance that this "iTunes Category" is not an official tag and not written back to your files. The only tags that Mp3tag doesn't show for your files are some of the type "UnknownFrame", as WXXX or WOAR. Both are NOT related to your question. ![UndefinedFrames](https://community.mp3tag.de/uploads/default/original/2X/8/849cce1774661003eb9020eb4aecc9943b648a58.png) And you have 3 pictures (APIC) in your first file. I don't know, why Mp3tag only shows 1 "Front Cover". This is also NOT related to your question. ---

In Itunes 12.08.1.3 on mac it works just for me 🙂 ---
