# Change only missing mp3 tag data

I want to use MusicBrainz in mp2Tag to add only missing tag data. I afraid Mp3Tag will change some of the data I've manually entered.

Can you tell me how to be sure no existing data is changed.

Also, It's important that audio fingerprint is used since I've altered file names and titles.

AFAIK MP3tag can either get all the data or none.  
But you can adapt a web source script so that it gets only a defined amount of data fields from the web source. This is not very dynamic, though.  
Or you write an export script, export the already existing data to a text file , let the web source script to its work and then re-import the data from the text file.
