# Changing default player

I couldn't find anything else on this topic. I want to change the default player which is used when right clicking and then "Play". I prefer to use J River Media Center rather than MS Media Player. Is this possible?

I would expect, that MP3TAG does not use anything else but the default player which is set for a particular file type. Have you set that your player is the default player for MP3s? You can do that in the explorer.

You can also add the player as a user-defined tool at Options \> Tools and select it as the default program there.

Media Center was definitely the default but have added as a default in options/tools and all hunkydory now. Thanks.
