I read some of the previous threads on how to do this but is not clear to me how this works.

1. option to change it in the discogs.inc file in AppData\Roaming\Mp3tag\data\sources .

I’m not a programmer so what do i change? It also seems i cannot save the changed file due to lack of administration rights? It seems i cannot open it as an administrator, but i can open it, do changes but not save it. Or does the program have to be closed to do that.

Then what do i change here ? Is it just outputto “Genre” in “Style” in Genre section and vice versa in Style section (see below)? Thanks

# Genre

outputto "GENRE"
json\_select\_array "genres" -1 ", "
sayrest

# Style

outputto "STYLE"
json\_select\_array "styles" -1 ", "
sayrest

As a new user, consider doing this the easy way, without having to modify a script. A simple [Format Value](https://docs.mp3tag.de/actions/format/) action will load the values in your Genre tags into your Style tags:

To swap GENRE and STYLE I would suggest this form the FAQs:

> [@Actions and batch-operations](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/actions-and-batch-operations/967/14):
>
> How to swap the contents of 2 tag fields? Example how to swap TITLE and ARTIST: Create a [new action](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/actions/967/2) in an existing action group or make a new action group. Action type: Guess values Source format: %title%~%artist% Guessing pattern: %artist%~%title% Note: The ~ sign is just used to separate the two fields, you could take any other sign that does not appear in your fields, e.g. ¢ or an extended unicode character like ∞ or ∑.
