# Changing  tags from v1 to v2

hi there

im a newbie to tagging mp3

my question is

I want to know how i can change tags from version 1 to v2 and just save them as v2 tags

I have to tag all my music albums to use in a piece of software called the pc jukebox

only trouble is when I combine artist name and track name together I need only do this for compilations albums

beacuse tag v1 only supports file name upto 30 characters

any help please
