# Chapters in MP3 file

I don't know enough about mp3 formats to know where this would go, maybe even a separate index file, but I would like essentially a table of contents of an mp3 file. Where the mp3's are individual songs it's not so useful (but as a "bookmark" could be), but for podcasts with lots of songs and/or topics, it would be really useful... It needs to be standardized too...

There is a standard already, but I don't think any tagger or player supports it yet: [http://www.id3.org/id3v2-chapters-1.0](http://www.id3.org/id3v2-chapters-1.0)
