# "Check for new version..." is broken

Hello , on v3.16 and Win7 32bit, "Check for new version.." does nothing anymore, no box shows up at all, no error, nothing.  
In event manager an event is logged "SCHANNEL fatal error which indicates a TLS cypher mismatch.  
Win7 (sp1) has TLS 1.1 and 1.2 support but not 1.3. I believe it broke recently.  
I like being able to check for updates, please help !

I've reactivated the old protocols. I wasn't aware of the implication regarding Windows 7, thanks for pointing.
