I’ve been trying to make a column with the “Mood” property, but I can’t seem to make it work correctly, and have been troubleshooting for ~20 minutes.

In Customize Column, I’ve added a new one named “Mood” with $meta\_sep(mood,\\) and %mood% as the field, but it doesn’t show a files given mood, nor will it update a file to have a new one. Would anyone know how to solve this?

Where don't you see the new data? In MP3tag?
Please see also the documentation that MOOD is only a standard field for V2.4 tags and all other tag formats get it as user-defined field which is supported only by very few players.

In many cases screenshots of the applied function with all its parameters help to get more detailed suggestions.
