I was wondering if there are any plans to offer command line usage for use in batch renaming. I have a situation where I need to tag a boat load of MP3's from a batch file basing the tags on the filename. Normally this would not be a problem, but this is for MP3+G files which are kept in zip form. I have a batch file written to unzip, rename internal files, and rezip, but am missing the tagging program for the middle ![](https://community.mp3tag.de/uploads/default/original/1X/3a79e8b0b7d169b30216785521d7c6f4f895c421.gif "")

Any help would be appreciated

for things like this i use simple perl scripts and the [MP3::Tag](http://builder.com.com/5100-6371-5293815.html) module... in your case you could use [Archive::Zip](http://bike-nomad.com/perl/) as well and do the whole job in a few lines of perl.. no more batch files needed 😉
