# comment tag lenght

i want to merge the unsyncedlyrics tag and the year tag.
i use the ottodestruct script to write the lyrics in the comment field instead to the lyrics one, so i can, via an action, merge year and comment to the unsyncedlyrics tag.
all is working well.
i'm only wondering if there's a limit to the lenght of the comment tag, and if i'm risking losing some piece of lyrics in the action.

i answer myself. it's gonna be truncated at some point.
how do i manage to merge two fields into unsyncedlyrics? i tried with unsyncedlirycs1 and 2 but the "eng||" part won't allow that....

i answer myself again... i manage to get through via an action with replace regular expression
now i have the unsyncedlyrics that displays:
Year: YYYY
one carriage return and then the lyrics itself.
the action menu is very powerful.... thank u.

You can do it in one step:
_Action type:_ **Format value**
_Field:_ **UNSYNCEDLYRICS**
_Formatstring:_ **Year: %year%$char(13)$char(10)$char(13)$char(10)$replace(%unsyncedlyrics%,eng||,)**
