# Comment zone in MP3 file

Hello, I don't know if this is just me, but for the past few days I've noticed that the data I enter in the "Comments" field is no longer being saved in my MP3 file. When I check my file settings with Explorer, the "Comments" field is empty. Could you tell me if I'm the only one experiencing this problem, and if so, do you have an explanation or a solution to get it working again? Thank you.

Please see **File → Options → Tags → Advanced** and use an **ID3v2 comment language code** that matches the locale of your system. It could be `fra` if you're using a French Windows.

Check the language settings in Ctrl-O Tags\>Advanced.
They would have to reflect the OS language.
