As the topic title really. Ever since I've upgraded mp3tag to 2.41 and I "Convert - Tag-\>-Filename" the path field of all the highlighted tracks goes blank and the tracks get deleted. I check the preview of the conversion first and it all looks fine. Any ideas please? ---

What is your format string for the converter? Can you show an excerpt from the preview? Did you try F5 key? Did you check with explorer if the files are really erased? ---

Hi Dano, Thanks for the reply - sorry for my delay but I've been away.... Anyway - my format string is - $num(%track%,2) - %title% Here's a line from the preview - "F:\Torrents\Completed torrents\Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid (2008) [320 Kbs] by pandaking\Elbow\The Seldom Seen Kid (2008)\12. We're Away [UK Bonus Track].mp3" -\> "F:\Torrents\Completed torrents\Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid (2008) [320 Kbs] by pandaking\Elbow\The Seldom Seen Kid (2008)\12 - We're Away.mp3" F5? Is that refresh? Tried it anyway and the files really are gone !! After completing the "Convert - Tag-\>-Filename" the actual 'Path' in MP3Tag goes from "F:\Torrents\Completed torrents etc" to "" . Just a plain slash - no path at all. Thanks again. P. ---

Your files are probably in the root directory of one of your hard drives. Please remove the leading backslash \ from the format string--it doesn't make sense. ---
