# Converter like "Guess value" with preview

I wonder if it would be possible to get a new convert function for the existing action "Guess value".  
We now have Convert\>Tag-Tag which shows a preview for the generating format string.  
And we have Convert\>Text(file)-Tag which shows a preview for a matching format string from more or less aribtrary data.

If these 2 functions, the generating format string preview and the matching format string preview, could be merged into a new Convert function then we would have "Guess value" with a preview.

I consider "Guess value" as one of the most powerful actions together with the scripting functions. E.g. "Guess value" achieves with a single action the transfer of the "featured artists" from one field to another in 1 go - whereas other approaches probably need 4 (extract text to a user-defined field, delete the text in the source, append it to the the target field, remove the user-defined field).

Right now the functions "Edit\>Copy as Text" and "Convert\>Text-Tag" can be used as a sort of 2-step-preview as "Convert\>Text-Tag" now also features a preview for the clipboard contents. But these are 2 steps.  
It would be nice to have it all in 1 place.
