Hello,

my rock, classic, jazz albums (each album contains tracks and cover) are stored in a folder named "albums"
I want to create folder like classic, jazz and so on where the albums are stored for each genre.
My idea i select all albums in folder "album" and marked e.g. all tracks with genre jazz in mp3tag.
Is there a way that albums with tracks are copied to the new folder jazz in mp3tag ?

%genre%\%album%\title%

See attached archive file.
There is a folder structure with dummy files.
Load the folder structure into Mp3tag and try it out.
If you are sure how to handle the situation and the process, then work with your files.

To move all folders to another location ...
Convert "Tag - Tag"
... or ...
Action "Format value"
Field: _DIRECTORY
Formatstring: **$validate('C:\TEST\Marvel\New\<!--colorc--\>'%GENRE%'\<!--colorc--\>'%directory%,'****')**
... or ...
Formatstring: **$validate('C:\TEST\Marvel\New\<!--colorc--\>'$replace(%GENRE%,'\<!--colorc--\>','~')'\<!--colorc--\>'$replace(%ALBUM%,'\<!--colorc--\>','~'),'**_**')**
... or what you want.

Note:
The tag-fields GENRE and ALBUM must not contain any backslash character.

Doing it this way you may revert the move process by pressing Ctrl+Z, german menu "Bearbeiten/Rückgängig".

yupp stimmt ist ja alles in Deutsch hier;

%genre%\%album%
der Ordner
Beat\Yellow Submarine
werden.

Du solltest möglichst absolute Pfade nehmen, z.B.:
c:\mukke\%genre%\%album%
