# Copy artist to album artist

Been using Mp3tag for a couple of weeks now, almost done tagging my collection, what at great program thanks for that.
I do however have some trouble with my compilation cds, is there a way to copy artist to "album artist", allowing me rename artist to "top 1000"? so it don't clutter up my collection with single tracks.
Any help would be appreciated or another way to do it, I use Winamp as my main player. What I'm looking for is to set a higher lever for classical, Christmas ect.

Usually you leave the artist tag unchanged and just add
album artist=top 1000
But here is an example how to copy a tag field to another:

You just have to switch field and format string.
