# Copy from ID3v1

Is there any way to copy all of the information from the ID3v1 to the ID3v2? I can do this in winamp, so I know there's got to be a way to do it in mp3tag.

You can set Mp3tag to read ID3v1 tags and write ID3v2 tags (see Options \> Tags \> Mpeg). When saving, the tags are copied to the ID3v2 tag.
