# Copy portion of filename to RELEASETIME

I have a bunch of files named thusly: AA1\_2008\_01\_01.mp3 to AA128\_2008\_05\_08.mp3.

I want to use the date from the filename and copy it into the RELEASETIME tag with the format:

2008-01-01T12:00:00Z

Is this possible?

It is possible using Mp3tag's Convert \> Actions feature 🙂

Action #1:  
_Action type:_ **Guess values**  
_Source format:_ **%_filename%_**  
 _Guessing pattern: **%dummy%** _ **%RELEASETIME%**

Action #2:  
_Action type:_ **Format value**  
_Field:_ **RELEASETIME**  
_Formatstring:_ **$replace(%RELEASETIME%,\_,-)T12:00:00Z**
