# Copy Tag Field

Is there a method of copying the data from one Tag field (e.g. ALBUM ARTIST) to another (e.g. BAND). I could do this individually but it would take me hours. The reason I need this is that I accidentally deleted the BAND tag field which is used by WMP.

_Action type:_ **Format value**  
_Field:_ **BAND**  
_Formatstring:_ **%album artist%**

Florian, will this work with multiple tags of the same name? If not, is there any way?

Starting with:

ARTIST=John Smith  
ARTIST=Mike Jones

to:

ARTIST=John Smith  
ARTIST=Mike Jones  
TRACKARTIST=John Smith  
TRACKARTIST=Mike Jones
