# Cover Art always goes back to different folder

Most of my files have the cover art in the same folder and the mp3 files. When I right click on the disc icon to add cover art, mp3tag always goes back to a different folder. I then have to scroll thru beaucoup folders and sub-folders to get back to the folder I need. IS there a way to stop this crazy action? OR perhaps implement code so the add cover option always goes to the same folder the mp3 files are in?

Update to the latest version 2.52 of Mp3tag. Then check File \> Options \> Directories and make sure that the 'Cover art directory' is blank.

Setting the field to blank does not work as described in the help.
You have to enter _%\_folderpath%_ if you want to always start in the folder of the audio files.
