Is it possible to extract the cover art from multiple titles simultaneously?

See the action "Export cover to file"

> **[Export Cover to File – Mp3tag Documentation](https://docs.mp3tag.de/actions/export-cover/)**
>
> Documentation on the Export Cover action type that can be performed as Quick Action or as reusable workflow from Action Groups. Mp3tag is the universal Tag Editor.

Mp3tag always works with files one at a time. It is not designed to perform multiple Actions simultaneously.
However, you can export the cover for multiple selected files in one step, as mentioned above. Mp3tag executes your commands in 1 Action for every selected file.

* * *

Apparently, I was misunderstood, or perhaps I didn't express myself clearly:

When I select multiple tracks, the menu item 'Extract Cover' is grayed out and unclickable.

I simply want to extract all the covers of the selected tracks with a single command (‘Extract all covers…’), using the album name or similar as the filename. So, if I select 10 tracks, I want to end up with 10 cover art files without having to edit each track individually, as is possible when inserting cover art. However, if I select multiple albums, this doesn't work quite as I'd like, even though the file folder structure is always the same:

Each album is in a separate folder containing the cover art named 'Cover.png', ‘CoverMedium.png’ (a smaller version (600\*600px)), 'Rückseite.png', etc., and the individual tracks are located directly in the folder, or, if there are multiple CDs in the album, in subfolders such as ‘CD01’, ‘CD02’, etc.

Yes, that works only for 1 cover at a time.
That what you want can be achieved with the suggested action. Apparently, you did not try it.
If you want to get a separate exported cover then take care that the resulting filename is unique, e.g. with `%artist%_%title%_(%_cover_type%)`

I already have that, but only for each title individually via ‘Extract cover art…’, which is very time-consuming.

What I want is the ability to extract all the cover art for multiple titles with different cover art using just one command or script, without any further confirmation. Ideally, I'd like to enter the command sequence into a script or similar and have it pinned to a button in the menu bar, so that I only have to select the titles and press the button, and the command sequence is executed sequentially without any further confirmation.

Please select (all) the files
then try the suggested action (quick) for a proof of concept.

In the end you can create an action group to have it in a "script".
